||
Malcolm is based in Hartfield, a small village in East Sussex, at the edge of Ashdown Forest. The forest is part of the Weald, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & SSSI. But perhaps the village is best known as the home of Winnie the Pooh. He specializes in Natural History and Landscape photography and most of his work is based in the South East of England. Whenever possible the subjects are photographed in situate, when this is not the case they are marked with the letter C to show captive. Although the subject matter is the most important aspect Malcolm tries to be as artistic as possible with his composition. This site is designed to give a small insight into his work. Although the majority of Malcolm's work is now captured digitally his grounding is still firmly traditional, his work is rarely manipulated but some enhancement is used.
